A Month of Food for Thought

“Food, in the end, in our own tradition, is something holy,” said director and writer Louise Fresco. “It’s not about nutrients and calories. It’s about sharing. It’s about honesty. It’s about identity.”

And so begins this month’s Quotes column about the topic of food. Our need to stay alive by eating is universal. Yet, the food choices we make are so personal, so individual, that there’s certainly no one way to understand the life-sustaining power of food.

So this month we offer many thoughts and ideas on the topic. Scroll down for a month’s worth of wisdom.Prijatno!
